Wow, that took forever, huh! Sorry it took me so long to finally get my pics up. I really haven't been on my computer much, just to check email and that's about it. Hello there...

Sorry I've been gone from blogville for awhile. I promise to post something worth reading very soon. My laptop crashed a couple of weeks ago so it's been in the shop. I don't know how I survived that long without a computer but I did! It actually wasn't too bad because I've been pretty busy anyway. Plus 2 1/2 weeks with no computer is good for anybody, you should try it sometime.

Anyway, we have just recently returned from a week long trip to the beautiful city of Washington, D.C. My husband and I left the kids with his parents and enjoyed a much needed vacation. We had a blast. He was actually there for business, but we left a few days early so we could do a few things before he had to go to his conference. He got out of his sessions at 5:00 so we had most of the evenings to do things. This was a very relaxed and fun time away. I will post pics soon.

Then we got a new addition to our home. We finally got the boy my husband has always wanted....lol....we got a dog! He is a yorkie-poo. He is soooo cute and keeps us busy. His name is Theo. He pretty much keeps us busy and entertained. The first days were challenging while he was getting used to his new surroundings, but things are better.

Then our church youth group is in the middle of a huge fundraiser for their new youth center. They are doing a fireworks warehouse. It is alot of work. The newlyweds, Trent & Calah are running this project and I have to say I comend them for taking this on 1 week after bing married and doing a fabulous job.

Things will be pretty busy the next few days leading up to July 4th. So I will post pics of Washington and the new puppy soon.
