Beauty Tips

Someone sent me this quote the other day and I thought it was too good to not share...

Our New Swimming Pool




My poor girls!!!! Look at what there mommy is making them use for a swimming pool. LOL!!! No, not really! We actually had a pool at one point but had to get rid of it because we neglected it during the fall and winter. So the girls have just had to play in the sprinklers this summer. Ashlynn does not like pools or beaches. So we just use ice chest. LOL!

We usually take our vehicals to have them cleaned and washed but Saturday we opted to do it ourselves. Well the whole family helped out, probably not exactly what Jeff had planned. After drying one side of the car Ashlynn decides to hose it down again. I think this happened twice. It was pretty funny, Jeff didn't think it was as much. Anyway, so we needed to find the girls something else to do. So I gave them water guns and buckets to play with thinking that would keep them occupied at least until Jeff was through drying the car. Wellllll....here is where the ice chest come into play....I pulled them out of the garage to sweep and the next thing I notice the girls are sitting in them. I just had to take a pic. Trip to Galveston

This past Thursday - Saturday we went to Galveston compliments of the Conroe UPC Jr. Bible Quiz Team. They so graciously got together and rewarded their coaches with a trip to just getaway and disconnect. They sent us to a nice condo and gave us spending money. Thank you so much for your nice gift. We had a fun, relaxing time away. We took the girls and Theo (our new puppy) with us. We opted to wait until 6:00 pm or so to take the girls to the beach so they wouldn't get sunburned and so we wouldn't be so miserable in 100 degree weather. During the day we took ferry rides, ate sandwiches at the condo, played games and just relaxed. Any time you go to the beach any and everything you touch gets dirty. It makes you feel gross. So we decided since there was no one at the pool back at the condo we should all just go jump in to get all the sand off before taking showers. Brooklyn loved that idea, Ashlynn...hmmm....not so much. She loves to take baths but hates pools & the water at the beach. She much rather play in the sand/mud than to get her feet wet at the beach. When we were leaving Galveston today Ashlynn made sure she said bye-bye waters. Thanks again Bible Quizzers for your generous gift. Check out the pics!
